Politics & Conversations

  Welcome. My intent is to foster discussions that illuminate the realities of our society as it faces challenges unheard of in the 20th century. There are political forces bent on destroying what has been built over a few hundred years with civil discourse and respect for opinions not shared by all.  The need to characterize different opinions as racist, ignorant and not worthy of debate must stop. 've been guilty of slurs & insults myself so I hope to do better here and if I slip I expect to get called on it. We need to get past racial segregation, We need to stop kowtowing to the minority.  Respect their ideas but hold fast to that which built the most succesful society where freedoms guided policy making.
